Kitting and Assembly

What is Kitting and Assembly?

Kitting refers to the process of creating “kits,” or packages, that contain all the parts needed for a specific manufacturing project under one item number and single bill of materials. Kitting is customized to the customers’ requirements to ensure all the necessary components arrive in a coordinated and administratively efficient effort reducing the risk of potential delays while maximizing the just-in-time concept of inventory management. Assembly services is the value-add proposition of combining multiple engineered components into a single working component through the outsourcing of labor, overhead, and technical expertise. When effectively deployed, both kitting and assembly services will yield for the customer reduced lead time, improved on-time delivery, better utilization of resources, and a lower fixed cost structure.

Why Choose Our Kitting and Assembly Services

Lower Your Cost

We are lean and will not burden your project with unnecessary and costly overhead that you may be incurring in-house. By outsourcing your light assembly manufacturing projects to us, your costs will be lower, which will increase your return on investment.

Free Up Your Resources

Is your production space at or near capacity?  Having hard time finding and allocating labor? Is the project, assembly, or sub-assembly in question high value in terms of the highest and best use of your production space?

We can eliminate these concerns with the successful outsourcing of your lower value, light manufacturing needs. For you, that will free up capacity for your higher value production needs and increase overall throughput. It’s a win/win.

Speed

Does the project/assembly in question keep getting pushed to the back of the production planning line?  Are you hamstrung by not being allowed to carry the necessary inventory of both the individual components and the finished product?

We are lean and will best adjust our production schedule to meet your delivery requirements. We will stock the necessary inventory both in terms of components and finished products. We are local to Ohio, so delivery can be as fast as you need it.
