High Pressure Valves, Fittings & Tubing

Features and Benefits of High Pressure Valves, Fittings & Tubing

Our high-pressure valves deliver optimal performance in even the most demanding applications. The ample selection of high pressure valves has a variety of features that deliver performance in demanding industries. They come with standard coned and threaded connections for reliable sealing in high-pressure situations. Stock is readily available for a wide range of high-pressure fittings for same-day or next-day shipment direct from the factory. These fittings are essential to complete high-pressure gas and liquid systems as highly reliable and safely engineered components. The integrity of any system is only as good as the weakest components. By utilizing the factory engineering resources, you can be assured of selecting the correct fittings that will maintain the pressure, flow and duty requirements demanded by your entire system. We offer cold-drawn, thick-walled tubing that is manufactured with the strictest quality assurance guidelines in place. Our high-pressure stainless-steel tubing is available in a range of sizes and pressure ratings. The medium and high-pressure stainless-steel tubing is manufactured from 316SS or 304SS and ultra high-pressure tubing is manufactured from HP160 or 316SS. The tubing is seamless and has a tensile strength greater than comparable annealed tubing.

Types of High Pressure Valves, Fittings & Tubing

Valves

Features of our high-pressure valve offerings include a wide temperature range with a standard operating temperature of up to 450°F with PTFE/carbon packing. We also offer optional valves for extremely high and low operating temperatures between: -423°F and 1200 °F. Other features include nonrotating stem design, optional regulating stem, metal-to-metal seat, and an optional replaceable seat available with the two-way angle body pattern. Collars and glands are included upon request. Six valve body patterns are available in six pressure ranges. These high-pressure valves come from an ISO 9001:2015- and TUV-certified facility. Our valves meet European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC standards and are CE-Mark compliant. Optional oxygen cleaning is available upon request. You will find a valve that fits your application, whether it is used in waterjet cutting systems, refineries, wells, pipelines, high-pressure food processing, chemical plants, power generation, or petrochemical processing plants.

Fittings

The readily available high-pressure fitting selection includes adapters to connect male x female or male x male ports of different sizes, anti-vibration collet/gland assemblies to lessen extreme external mechanical vibrations or shock in tubing lines, couplings to connect two male ends of the same or different sizes, crosses to add four common connections of the same size to a tubing line, elbows to add two common connections on a 90° angle to a tubing line, nipples to add two common male connections using various standard lengths of coned, tee fittings to add three common connections of the same size to a tubing line, and threaded tubing and safety head assemblies to provide overpressure protection of up to 15,200 psi.

Tubing

Our offering of medium-pressure tubing ranges in size from 1/4”, 3/8”, 9/16”, 3/4”, 1” with pressures to 22,500 psi and 1-1/2” with pressures to 15,200 psi. High-pressure sizes range from 1/4”, 3/8”, 9/16” with pressures to 65,000 psi and 1” with pressures to 43,000 psi. Ultra-high-pressure sizes range from 1/4”, 3/8”, 9/16” with pressures to 101,000 psi and 5/16” with pressures to 152,000 psi. All diameters of stainless-steel tubing are available at lengths ranging from 20–26.5 feet. Special order lengths are available. Custom lengths can be cut to order. All ranges of high-pressure tubing can operate at temperatures as low as -423°F and as high as 1,200°F (derating may apply). The dependable coned-and-threaded connection is the industry standard. Additionally, we offer high-pressure autofrettage tubing. Autofrettage is the practice of subjecting the internal bore of the tubing to a pressure sufficiently high enough to plastically deform the bore, resulting in a residual compressive stress once the pressure is released. Autofrettage improves the fatigue life of the tube, which is important in waterjet cutting and other production environments.
