Motors & Drives

Features and Benefits of Motors & Drives

We offer a wide range of low-voltage general-purpose and definite-purpose motors and phase converters that can meet almost any specification you may have. Our motors can be easily configured, based on type of motor and application need, frame size, phase of electricity, casting material, enclosure type, speed, bearing type, voltage, horsepower, and customer options. Most of our motors are NEMA premium efficiency rated, and we also have metric IEC options. In addition, we offer highly configurable phase converters. The motors and phase converters are of the highest quality, with manufacturer warranties ranging from 12–60 months. These products are extremely reliable and readily available, with some of the shortest lead times in the industry.

Our AC or DC electric drive products are perfect for a variety of applications, including converting, printing, machine tools, HVAC, water treatment, pumps, fans/blowers, and more. The majority of our drives are in stock at the factory and ready to ship the same day. Additional AC drive options include unique “drive.web” operator stations, keypads, communications, programming, DB resistors, as well as other accessories. We also have a complete range of regenerative and nonregenerative DC drives, single and three-phase input, with wide-ranging current and voltage ratings. Sales and after-sales support can be provided by experienced application engineers.

Types of Motors & Drives

AC-DC Drives

We have many models and types of AC drives to choose from, including an AC closed loop vector drive with 0.5 to 400HP with filters, brake output transistor, and reactors, an energy efficient AC drive with 0.5 to 400HP variable torque, that comes with an & pump drive for HVAC, building systems, climate control, and flow control applications. General purpose VFD 0.5 to 50HP for machine control, pumps and blowers, conveyors, and mixers. Single-phase VFD for use with SP & PSC motors up to 1.5HP single phase 115 and 230 volts, and AC Shaded Pole and Permanent Split Capacitor motors. We have NEMA 4X (IP66) enclosed AC drives for harsh environments, when using 0.5 to 15HP motors in harsh, wet, and dirty environments. All our AC drives are compact, with small footprints, making them ideal for retrofits. Our DC digital drives are easily connectable via USB and Ethernet. We offer digital 3-phase drives up to 2000HP+, in high-performance, powerful application blocks with a small footprint 6-pulse or 12-pulse, 230, 460, 600 or 690 VAC configurations. Single-phase drives up to 2HP are enclosed with DIN rail mounting drives in elegant compact packages that are suitable for both stand-alone and systems applications. Systems and retrofit drives for single phase input up to 10HP, both isolated and non-isolated, regenerative, and nonregenerative. Our DC drive options include multiple voltage inputs of 120, 230, 380, 415 and 460V, as well as multiple current ratings from fractional to 48A. For today’s robotic applications, we have linear amplifier DC servo drives as single-phase input up to 10HP. They are designed for small, high-performance position and speed control applications, such as robotics, mechanical handling, automated assembly, packaging processes, and machine tool axis. We have a venerable line of analog DC drives up to 200HP, with small footprints, available for either 230 or 460 configurations

Motors and Phase Converters

In terms of general purpose motors, we offer three phase motors in aluminum and cast iron finishes, along with an open enclosure option. Our definite-purpose motor lineup includes, but is not limited to, farm duty, washdown, stainless steel, oil pump, and crusher duty motors. Our phase converters are TEFC-IP 55-rated, with cast iron construction and dual oversized bearings. The phase converters work with all of the other classifications of our motor offering, including explosion proof. The manufacturer’s warranty is 24 months.

Why Choose Our Motors & Drives
